Work Area
- Scan the work area.
- Check for electrical hazards.
- Check for tripping or slipping hazards.
- Locate a clear, stable surface to place base of ladder.
- Locate a firm and secure surface for the top of the ladder. Check weather conditions if outside (wind, snow, ice, rain, etc.).
